Bespoke Bottlings

Choose the cask, the strength, the label and the outturn. We handle disgorging, duty, bottling and delivery — you keep every bottle.

Bottles being filled and labelled by hand at a bottling bench.

How it works

  1. Choose a cask. From our collection, or one you already own. We'll draw a sample so you taste before you commit.
  2. Decide the character. Cask strength or reduced, and to what. Chill-filtered or not. Coloured or natural — we'd suggest natural.
  3. Set the outturn. How many bottles, and what size. A hogshead typically yields around 250 to 300 bottles at 70cl, depending on age and how much the angels have taken.
  4. Design the label. Your own artwork, or ours. All required legal text is handled for you.
  5. We do the rest. Disgorging, duty, bottling, and delivery to your door.

What it costs

Bottling costs depend on outturn, strength and where the bottles are going — duty is the largest single element and varies by destination. We'll give you a full breakdown before anything is committed, with no charges added later.

Timescales

From confirmed brief to bottles in hand is typically eight to twelve weeks. If you're planning around a date — a wedding, an anniversary, a company milestone — tell us and we'll work back from it.

Commission a bottling

Tell us the occasion, rough outturn and any thoughts on the whisky. We'll come back with options and a costed proposal.
